Maher Qubain has spent more than three decades inside the global telecommunications and technology industry — building, leading, and advising operators, infrastructure businesses, and emerging-market ventures across five continents.

His operating background includes senior leadership roles at AT&T, Vodafone / Airtouch Communications, Ericsson, BellSouth, and Starcomms — institutions that shaped the modern telecommunications landscape across North America, Europe, and Africa. The throughline of that work has been disciplined operating execution paired with the patience required to build long-cycle infrastructure businesses.

He founded Telair Group LLC in 2012, headquartered in Irvine, California. The firm advises founders, boards, and institutional investors on strategic technology decisions and deploys patient capital across telecommunications, infrastructure, and emerging technology.
